Berkhamsted plans weather-proof fireworks display for Bonfire Night

Whatever the weather is like on Bonfire Night, the Rotary Club will be lighting up the sky over Berkhamsted.

Classic Fireworks will be launching a spectacular rain-proof display at Berkhamsted Cricket Club at 6.45pm on Saturday, November 5.

Gates open at 5pm, and early arrivals will be entered into a raffle at 5.15pm.

There is also a Guy Fawkes fancy dress competition, with cash prizes up for grabs and categories for children aged four to 10, young adults aged 11 to 17, 18-45s and over-45s. Judging will take place at 5.30pm.

Other entertainment on offer includes a barbecue, music and sideshows.

Tickets for the event are free for under-fives. Adults pay £6 on the night or £5 in advance, with a £1 discount for those aged five to 15.

Free parking will be available in the station car park between 4pm and 9pm.
