Buy a brick for BerkoAstro, a great sporting facility for Berhamsted

Berkhamsted Raiders has been granted money by both the Football Foundation and Sport England to start work on the new facility at BerkoAstro. 

The work is due to start by the end of January, so now the club is asking the community to "Buy a Brick" and to be literally part of the foundations of this fantastic facility. 

Your donation of £25 (or £50...or more!) to BerkoAstro will be acknowledged by displaying your name or message on the new BerkoAstro facility on an engraved brick. A single brick (£25) can be inscribed with two rows of up to 16 characters each. Or a double brick, inscribed with up to four rows of 16 characters each can be purchased for £50.

Since opening in November 2010, the floodlit 3G pitch at BerkoAstro at Ashlyns School has seen more than 1,500 children and adults use the facility every week during the season. Phase 2 of BerkoAstro will provide toilets, hot and cold running water, cover for children and parents from the elements, tea and coffee-making facilities, an indoor space for classroom training, and a small changing area.
