A new Supporters Association has been formed for Berkhamsted FC, "the
Comrades", at the Broadwater stadium.
Colin Ivey, who has a son in the Raiders Under 17's, is the driver behind
the newly formed Comrades Supporters Association. Over the years, Colin
has been a parent supporter, linesman, assistant manager, manager,
qualified referee and committee member at Raiders.
He now volunteers at Berkhamsted FC as he feels that it is important that there is a good-quality, senior football team in the town.
Colin is heading up a group of people who have formed a Supporters
Association at Berkhamsted FC – The Comrades Supporters Association –
intended to ensure the sustainability of Berkhamsted FC,
invest in its infrastructure and have the good of the community at
its core.
The Comrades
Supporters Association (CSA) is keen to develop the relationship between
Raiders and Berkhamsted FC.
To join, look out for one of 20,000 flyers coming through your letterbox, or pick up one in a number of the town's businesses – an application form is included. Or log on to the CSA website. Any company or organisation that joins will have free membership for its proprietor's or manager's family.
