Take care if you're heading out from Berkhamsted on roads or rail

If you are heading out into the snow from Berkhamsted, check before you travel. There are a number of problems on roads and rails.
Overhead wire problems mean London Midland trains that normally run from Tring are running from Hemel Hempstead to London, rather than starting from Tring. There's a normal Sunday service on all other routes, with delays of up to 20 minutes.
Because of the derailment at Bletchley, there will be an amended Virgin Trains service between Milton Keynes Central and London Euston today (Sunday 5 February). The problem is expected to be sorted out by the start of service on Monday 6 February.
