How strange! Not had a problem with mine. How do you receive your TV channels? (Freeview, terrestrial, Sky, cable...?)

I think you will find it was Bedmond up to it's old tricks again. Channel 4 analogue died a few short death throws about 3 weeks ago and I reported it one one of the freeview forum, who just said it was me as no problems of any kind were happening at Bedmond. The failure on Sunday affected all digital and analogue frequencies and resulted in low power. I'm not sure if they have just one feeder up the mast or several, but the symptoms suggest a joint failing somewhere. I've seen a thermal image of a similar mast where you could see flames coming out of one of the joints - no-one admitted there was a problem until shown the evidence. The Oxford transmitter has been on a temporary antenna since the spring due to fire and Sandy Heath (Beds) has never performed as expected since being erected. Wonderful things, radio waves!
I get my channels via Freeview and we also lost all channels except BBC on Sunday evening, this lasted throughout most of Monday. I am glad I read about it on here as neighbours did not have the same problems but probably do not use freeview.I did try putting it on non digital mode but we still had a problem.
It happened in a similar manner a few times last winter but has been trouble free all summer.
Depends where you are in the town. The north side gets a good signal from Crystal Palace, the South Side is Bedmond. The Town Centre is very poor. Chesham Road (one way bit) and Kings Road from Girls School to Ashlyns Road should try Sandy Heath or Milton Keynes - but no freeview as yet.
As a nephew of mine once said as we came down Gravel Path for the 1st time 'is this where they put the soil when they dug it out to build the town?' He was only 16 at the time!
NoDak have you tried http://tinyurl.com/yc9xyn4 I can stream a decent picture on my phones 3G connection so your broadband should cope.
