Fitness First Berkhamsted

Does anyone share the opinion that this is possibly the worse gym in the area? I am struggling to continue to stay as a member with the poor facilities and service. Can anyone recommend another gym locally? I live 500 yards from FF so it's very convenient but becoming too awful to contine...

I gave up my Fitness First membership because I just found the gym too cramped, and was annoyed at paying so much for a place with no pool. I have now fallen off the gym wagon somewhat (oops) but was considering joining the Berkhamsted School gym as it's also close by - anyone tried that?
