Free Wedding Photography to raise money for Cancer Research UK

Do you know someone who is getting married in the next year whose life has been touched by cancer and would be willing to raise money for Cancer Research UK? Andrea Lane, photographer was diagnosed with endometrial cancer in 2008. She is one of the very lucky people who was diagnosed early and needed no further treatment other than a hysterectomy.

Andrea of Tring belongs to the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers and wrote on their forum that she wanted to 'give something back' and was thinking of offering a free wedding shoot in exchange for pledges to Cancer Research UK for a deserving couple. Before she knew it lots of other photographers said that they would like to do that too. And so Photographers4Charity was born. This year and in 2010 the chosen charity is Cancer Research Uk and they are looking for couples who will pledge to raise at least £300. This could be quite easy as if they ask their guests it means just £10 donation from 30 guests.
