Little Jim's buses return to Potten End after a 20 year gap! Following Arriva's deregistration of Bus 32 (Northchurch-Potten End-Hemel), Little Jim's Buses will introduce a variation of their Bus 502 which will reroute via Potten End. These variations will be numbered Bus 532 and commence 10th May 2010.

Because the Traffic Commissioners would only allow a short-term registration for the Potten End journeys but not for a change of 502 timings, the Northchurch-Berkhamsted common section will sometimes have both routes running very close to each other until June 9th.

Little Jim introduced a regular service from Berkhamsted to Hemel via Potten End on 3rd April 1989. This (Bus 414) built up in stages to become a 30min service before London Country North West bought it out after nearly a year of intense competition.

Unfortunately, in comparison, the new service will comprise of only 3 off-peak journeys a day. The "peak hours" will continue to be served by variations of HCC contract Bus 30/31.
