I heard the announcement from the helicopter too. I think it said they're looking for an 88yr old man called Bernard. 5ft something, gey balding hair, wearing a flat cap, blue jacket and beige trousers. Contact the local police station if you find him.

They have all gone now. Someone pointed them up towards Thomas Choram School, they sped off and have not been back since.

did get a nice picture of it while it was hovering over my house though.

The helicopter was indeed looking for an 88-year-old man who was reported missing on Saturday at about 3.30pm. He was found safe and well just over an hour later. Any chance you could upload your picture Ralphus? Would like to see it! tinyurl.com/ybzhoqh

I've added the ones that are the best Lara. Once day I'll get round to adding more that I take in the area. Problem is that I work in Hemel so most of my 'countryside shots are from there not Berkhamsted!
