Ah - yes. I know three if that helps?!

The George does a monthly quiz - usually the last Monday of the month. It's probably the hardest in town, or perhaps most high brow - 10 rounds of 10 questions, all general knowledge. Max teams of 4, £5 entry, winning team wins a bottle of wine each. I've been in a team doing this one for more than 10 years and we've only won 2 or 3 times.......perhaps we're thick!

The Crystal Palace does one once a month on a Wednesday - usually the first Wed of the month, but it's on this week (13/1). More accessible general knowledge, with a couple of audio music rounds where you have to guess the songs and the year. There's a beer round where the winning score in a round wins a drink each, but bette than that, there's prize money. The winning team each months get's a 'killer question' - if it's not answered correctly, the mony rolls over. This Wednesday, the pot is £400! Max 4 per team, £5 entry.

Finally, the Lamb does a monthly quiz on a Monday - not sure when in the calendar month. £8 per head gets you quiz entry and a curry - have been a couple of times, food is great and quiz is fun, and quirky sometimes. Not sure of the prize. This one's always busy, so worth turning up early.
