All right, I'll bite.
What do you want to know?
How about:
Water board find leak in Ravens Lane and temporary traffic lights make travel easier.
or:
Street light continues to burn in Hilltop Estate all of the day and all of the night.
or:
Highly-paid hospital Chief Executive appointment flawed
“At the very least, I do believe that a formal appointment panel should have been convened”
So writes Keith Pearson, the Chair of the East of England Strategic Health Authority (SHA) in a letter sent this month to the Chair of the West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust, Professor Thomas Hanahoe. He also states that the appointment process did not fully meet “the standards expected at this level”.
or:
New homes for town.
or:
Free parking now available in New Road, Berkhamsted - long walk expected if not early enough.
maybe even:
More potholes found in 'A' road - Amersham beats Berkhamsted 453 to 254.
I could go on. News to one person is of no interest to anyone else.
You need someone to look for news rather than expect it to fall onto the screen.
Here is a good one:
New trees planted in East Meadow have lasted longer than the ones in Velvet Lawn.
New school to be built near East meadow so that these trees don't feel abandoned. Velvet Lawn has those nice children from Thomas Corum School to cope with.
I really must get out more!
I know you've been looking for new blood. Thought your team might like to come along to support an event to raise money for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research. Everybody with one of these awful conditions definitely needs new blood too. Join us for a scenic walk at 11.30 a.m. on Sunday 20th June starting at Potten End school. Finish with a hog roast lunch before your afternoon match or stay for all the great family events we've organised. More info. from dlee1@waitrose.com
