ok fellow berko people I am now about to sound really old and boring ... however is it me or does there seem to be more and more rubbish around berko in the parks etc at the moment ...

The reports I get are that often the 'passing through' boats on the canal don't know there is a facility on Canal Fields for them.
Or is it that young people don't have pockets to put their wrappings?
Or the 'new MacDonalds' isn't close enough to the town, so residents have to drive, finish their meal in the car before it gets cold and just chuck the container out of the window?
Don't ask for more litter bins as they are not even on the Borough Green, Clean and whatever list.

not old, not boring.... just like the place to look a bit 'nice' - nowt wrong with that ! I agree - The Moor was strewn with litter the other morning, and the litter bins along the canal were overflowing. Dacorum has obviously cut back on garden maintenance as the Ashlyns Estate, and everwhere ese maintained by the borough, is starting to look at right old mess....

ideal candidate? Oh dear, that might mean actually doing something and spending money on something the town might appreciate!
