Nothing original but ASK is reliably good for a family meal

Trawled the high street with the family last week looking for somewhere for dinner.
Ended up in ASK largely because it’s a good compromise. Plenty of choices for the children and as with most of the Pizza Express type chains it’s predictable. Service was great and they worked hard to make sure the children enjoyed themselves with colouring stuff and ice cream so we didn’t have to do the usual speed eating to get out before their patience ran out.
Antipasti was good, great olives!
Was slightly lacking in atmosphere (almost empty) but I guess we were just there early in the evening.

Have found the food decent, nothing exciting, but does what it says on the tin. Have found staff to be excellent though, friendly, helpful.... makes all the difference, turns a boring chain place, into a relaxing, nice place to eat.
