How many weeks have Dacorum Borough Council taken to collect your bins? Ours have finally been picked up - six weeks after the last collection!

Cllr Alan Anderson will be getting reports on the why and why not for a summer meeting of his committee.
He mentioned to me something along the lines that who wants a 23 ton vehicle sliding along their road in the snow.
Under my breath, I muttered that DBC should make the highways safe for emergency and public service vehicles so there would not be a problem.
We, the public, could help by not blocking the public highways with vehicles. One operative even suggested that residents shouldn't park their cars on the highway on the day when refuse and recycling is carried out.
See that pig!!
Green bins were not collected for six weeks. I am baffled by DBC web site that told us earlier in the month that grey bins would be collected asap but that collection of green bins had been suspended. As the council clearly states that ALL food waste should be in green bins then surely if any collections are to be suspended then it should be grey bins which should not have any food waste in them.
It is appalling, the Green Bins were not emptied from the 17th December through to end of January; and this is supposed to Green, with the emissions from the food waste surely it can't help.
I feel that DBC have failed to honour the contract that we pay for with our Council Tax...so...we should fail to pay until they buck up there ideas and give us the service that we have paid for.
