Saturday 3rd July 2010 saw the launch of the first annual Meet the Team and Walk in Ashridge event. Nearly sixty clients plus Facebook fans and their 38 four-legged friends joined the Walk the Dog team.
The weather was glorious for this turn out and everyone enjoyed the opportunity to meet one another’s pets ranging from Walk the Dog’s puppy class pups to their furry pensioner clients. There were two routes to choose from led by the Walk the Dog team, one suitable for puppies and older dogs and the second route suitable for adult dogs which had more challenging terrain.
All those who attended received a goodie bag packed full of fantastic treats from a tug toy to samples from Walk the Dog’s Forever Living range, plus a badge to mark the completion of routes.
Hanne Grice, owner of the award winning pet company Walk the Dog said, “We’ve got fantastic clients so I wanted to do something fun for them. The walk event gives our clients and the team the chance to get to know one another better, while enjoying the beautiful surroundings of Ashridge. Nearly 40 dogs have come along today that use a range of our services from our puppy school and behavioural consultation clients to our dog walking clients. All the dogs have had great fun meeting and playing together. I’m delighted with the turn out and great feedback – you can’t get better than that!”
The next event in Walk the Dog’s calendar is a Fashion Show at The Gatsby in aid of Every Chance Rescue, which the pet company is sponsoring. To find out more about this Berkhamsted business, log onto www.walk-the-dog.net or contact the team on 01442 878628 / 07976 743031.
