Teenagers in Berkhamsted who dream of being the next

Scorsese can take part in a local film competition organised by Youth

Connexions Hertfordshire. The competition is open to budding film makers, aged

between 13 to 19, who either live or go to school in Hertfordshire. There’s

also the chance to get involved if acting or working behind the scenes is what

appeals to you.

The competition opened on 23rd August and

the deadline for entries is Wednesday 6th October. The results will

be announced in November, to coincide with Youth Work Week.

You don’t need any film

making experience or to have been to a Youth Connexions youth project before.

The film will be made using ‘Flip’ cameras, which are very easy to use. You can

simply turn up or give the Youth Connexions project team a call and ask the

youth worker about the film competition.
