Scoops ice cream parlour opened in Berkhamsted last week - taking the place of cookie and coffee shop The Bloc on the corner of Lower Kings Road and the High Street.

Sampling the Scoops ice cream
The cafe serves a selection of hand-churned ice creams, ranging in flavour from conventional vanilla to crunchy Oreo cookie, and including dairy-free sorbets. They can be dished up in portions of between one and three scoops and served in scones or glass bowls.
It also offers hot and cold drinks and fresh homemade sandwiches.
A Berkhamsted People taste test awarded four stars to the tasty ice cream and five to the delicious coffee.
But the seating inside blocks off one of the two doors to the building, and the positioning of the ice cream counter may be in full view of passers-by, but makes it hard to get through the door when there's a queue of diners.
What do you think of Scoops?
Comments
I think that the Scoops ice cream parlor is a great place. the staff are all very cheerful and polite.
the atmosphere of the shop is very positive and the colour scheme is pleasing to the eye.
although it is rather small inside there is still plenty of room for enough people to sit and have a coffee or ice cream in relitive comfort as well as the outdoor seating.
the ice cream itself is incredibly delicious, now im far from the ice cream conosour but it beats every other ice cream store i have ever been to (and trust me thats alot!) i would give a five star to the prducts but only a four star for the atmosphere inside.
but i tell you now whatever you think it lacks it will certinaly make up for in the quality of its products.

ReportIt's great and I know the owner and everyones very nice there! 5star ice cream but not as much as I would have hoped to have had in a cone but it makes up for it in taste!
