So a Berkhamsted company has decided that our devoted dogs should be rewarded with something special on Valentine's Day.

Pet care business Walk The Dog has created a range of Valentine's cards for man's best friend.

One bears the words 'Paw U', another says 'I Woof You' and a third proclaims 'Top Dog' - but far more importantly for their four-legged recipients, they're edible.

The company is also selling bone-shaped treats to make the dog in your life feel extra special on February 14.

Walk The Dog provides dog walking, pet care and animal behavioural services to owners in and around Berkhamsted.
