Does Berkhamsted have the most promising business?

A Berkhamsted company has been shortlisted for the title of Most Promising Business at the Dacorum Business Excellence Awards.
Walk The Dog, which was founded by "dog listener" and Berkhamsted People contributor Hanne Grice (pictured, far right), has made it through to the finals in the 11th annual contest.
The award is open to companies that are less than two years old and that have made a "positive impact" on the local business community.
Hanne launched Walk The Dog in 2007. The company now provides dog walking, advice on pet training, puppy parties and pet products.
Hanne said: "I believe it's our attention to detail that makes us stand out from the crowd. Every Walk The Dog pet has their own blog page with photographs so their owners can read what their pet's been up to while they're at work or on holiday.
"We also provide regular newsletters, hold fundraising events and competitions, and even bake cookies for all our pets as a thank you at Christmas."
The winner will be announced at a black tie ceremony being held at Shendish Manor on Friday 23rd October.

Great news for this fab local business. Very few businesses have such attention to detail, some children's nurseries would even struggle to acheive this level of care!! Lots of luck for the contest!
