Offer day for Berkhamsted's secondary school pupils

Children in Berkhamsted are finding out today whether they have won places at their first choice secondary schools. 

Councils are sending letters, e-mails and text messages to parents to confirm which school their children will attend in September. 

Last year, 83 per cent of families nationwide were allocated a place at one of their top three schools. 

The official breakdown of how many children get into their first choice school will not be released until March 11 - but if you've already heard the outcome of your child's application, let us know below.
