A woman has died after attending a Berkhamsted house party where a teenager also lost his life.

Lindsay Wilson, 28, spent nearly three weeks in hospital after the party on Monday, January 18.

She died on Sunday after her life support machine was switched off.

Lindsay, from Southampton, was taken to hospital in a "critical condition" after an ambulance was called to a flat in Priory Court at around 6pm on Tuesday, January 19.

Ben Walters, 18, was dead when paramedics arrived at the scene.

The Daily Mail reported that the partygoers had taken so-called "legal high" mephedrone, while the Hemel Hempstead Gazette suggests morphine tablets "may have been circulating" at the party.

Six people have been arrested on drugs charges, including four teenagers from Berkhamsted and Tring.
