Blood stocks across the country need rebuilding after the prolonged spells of poor weather this winter. 

You can do your bit at the Civic Centre on the High Street between 12.45pm and 3.30pm or between 5pm and 7.30pm. 

If you're in good health, aged between 17 and 65 and weigh at least 7st 2lb, you're invited to donate, but if you have any concerns you can complete an online Donor Health Check. 

Blood stock levels fell sharply in January, and supplies from blood groups O- and B- are in particularly short supply.
