ABC Costume Hire in Berkhamsted: the real Mr Benn of fancy dress shops!
My partner and I recently had the task of finding outfits beginning with 'A' for a fancy dress party. Armed with a list of 'A' subjects I called ABC in Berkhamsted for more ideas and to see what else they would come up with. They suggested we pop in to look through their books which are full of outfits, all divided into sensible categories and try a few things on. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon which was fairly busy but the staff managed to see everybody in turn or see people while others were trying on their outfits. ABC Costumes are extremely adaptable (they can often offer a variety of sizes, different shirts, waistcoats, hats and shoes etc. and can make alterations to suit) alongside an extensive range of accessories to complement your chosen outfit. Reasonable hire costs and a very generous hire period (collect Thursday, return Monday for weekend hire) coupled with their professionalism and helpfulness make this a fantastic place for your fancy dress requirements!

Brilliantly original range of costumes
ABC Costumes have a really wonderful range of costumes available. While most places can offer you a Batman or a sexy nurse, not many places can you find a decent Chewbacca or a piano outfit. They are reasonably priced, although you do have to put down a deposit, but of course so long as you dont damage it then you get that back, and frankly itll be worth it in order to impress!
