I'll get round to having a good moan about how difficult this site is to use when I get time.
Meanwhile, following the successof the missing footpath in Briar Way, we now have the beginnings of a replacement lighting column after just 40 years of going walkabout by being knocked down.
If you want to see this wonderous sight, the column 1A is between column 1 and 2 in Briar Way. Be quick before they change their mind.

Did you see the little plastic tube attached to lighting column 1?
It just appeared two weeks ago and has the appearance of a bug detector - clear plastic tube, open at bottom and cap on top about 1/2 inch in diameter.
Yep, you are right, I should get out less, but I'd like like your opinion. It even has a number!
