Police are appealing for Berkhamsted drivers who may have witnessed a collision on the Hemel Hempstead Road (A4147) Friday 13 January at just after 6.30pm. The vehicle, a green Ford Fiesta, left the carriageway and came to a stop in a field next to the road. Berkhamsted station's ticket office could have its opening hours reduced

London Midland is proposing that the office should open later on weekday mornings and close earlier on weekend evenings - leaving travellers more reliant on self-service machines to buy tickets.
